Ximna is currently seeking an experienced Data Scientist who will join our expanding teams to work on machine learning projects. The successful candidate must have strong experience using a variety of methods, tools for data mining and data analysis, building and implementing data models, using or creating algorithms. Moreover, as part of the organization, you will able to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the software development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data & extract expected values from raw data.
• Develop algorithms and run simulations to find patterns in large amounts of data.
• Create predictive models, algorithms and probability engines to support data analysis.
• Evaluate and implement third party tools, products, and platforms which utilize machine learning technologies.
• Research new frameworks and technologies for the projects.
• Documentation for the projects.
• Join daily meetings or ad-hoc meetings to update development status.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• 1+ years of proven work experience as a Data Scientist.
• Experience in statistical,  data mining, and data analysis techniques.
• Good knowledge of data science theories and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms.
• Strong skills in ML techniques such as Neural Networks, Linear/Logistic Regression, Bagging, Bayesian model, Random forest, Gradient boosting, Hyperparameter optimization techniques, etc.
• Have strong programming skills and able to use machine learning tools, platforms, and libraries efficiently.
• Willing to learn and apply new technologies and techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time-management skills.

As a plus

• Have advanced Math skills.
• Used to work with big-data projects or BI tools.
